Up for grabs is a super rare, absolutely killer looking, autographed & framed red vinyl copy of Danzig's legendary 2010 album Deth Red Sabaoth! This album has been signed in sharpie by legendary Danzig/Misfits/Samhain frontman Glenn Danzig, as well as Danzig/Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly and Danzig bassist/Samhain drummer Steve Zing! In fact, in my haste to get everyone's signatures, I ended up having Steve sign the cover twice. Johnny Kelly personalized it "To Chris!" which is me. These signatures were obtained after the band's 25th Anniversary tour stop in OKC at the Diamond Ballroom on 10/27/2013. My ticket stub from that evening is also framed with this item. I have met these guys several times, and they are without a doubt, the coolest, most fan-friendly band out there! I have pictures with each member and would be happy to send them to any interested buyers in order to provide added confidence in the authenticity of these signatures. I obtained each of them in person and can absolutely 100% guarantee their authenticity.
As you can see from the pictures, this record cover has one really large crease in the lower left front corner/lower right back corner, as well as some smaller ones from being handled and autographed that evening. However, aside from the one large crease, these creases are not really visible when the record is displayed in its frame.
The record itself is an absolutely beautiful shade of red. I have owned this record for over 10 years so it's been with me through a couple moves and is definitely in pre-owned condition. As you can see from the pics, the record does have multiple visible scratches. It also has a pretty visible warp when it's playing. Aside from Hammer of the Gods, the record played through without any skipping when I played it prior to listing. Unfortunately, Hammer of the Gods has multiple skips.
I have done my best to highlight all flaws related to the cover and actual record and to grade them in accordance with the Gold Mine Record Grading standards, but am not a professional record grader and realize how particular record collectors can be, so I am more than willing to accept this back as a return, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason. I honestly think you'll love it though, especially when you see it hanging up in your home! The frame itself is also in pre-owned condition.
This amazing piece of rock memorabilia has been proudly displayed in my Danzig room for many years and will look totally killer displayed in your music room, bar or entertainment area and is a must have for fans of Danzig, Samhain and The Misfits, so don't let it pass you by!
