Up for auction is one of the rarest US Capitol Records Beatles' Picture Sleeves from early 1964: Can't Buy Me Love b/w You Can't Do That!! The photos of each side clearly show the condition. Only printed on the East Coast in 1964. Advance orders for the 45 were in the millions so Capitol Records didn't see the need to spend money on printing up millions of picture sleeves it seems! As numerous copies of the 45 exist for sale elsewhere, I have elected not to list for sale a 45. The sleeve still maintains it's whiteness with few problems. There is a small brown spot on the CBML side above John's shoulder that can probably be eliminated, I just haven't tried. There is a small tear at the top, about 1/4" or less above the "E" in Beatles. Side 2 YCDT looks great too! The sleeve is, after all 49 years old, so there is the slightest of wear as depicted. The Cox/Daniels 6th Edition Price Guide in 2007, I seem to recall, valued this sleeve at over $1000+ in near mint condition! I have priced it to sell...Highest bid over $100 wins!!!
