Description
Up for bid is my rare Beatles VI Parlophone UK Export album. Label date is 1965 number CPCS 104. It is a original and authentic Yellow and Black Parlophone 1st pressing record. Label states made in Gt. Britain. This is a rare Beatles subset that was pressed in few numbers by EMI-UK for export. It does not have the original inner sleeve so I have it in a new poly sleeve. Matrix numbers are: YEEX 112 - A15 / YEEX 113 - A15 also has ST 2451 scratched out on side 2 trail off. Album front cover has a slight wrinkle on the upper left part of the glossy cover with some dark cuts above it. Back cover has dark wear around edges and dark spotting marks near upper left area. The center edge has a tear slightly coming through but easily fixed if you choose too, not very noticeable. Also the original retail store sticker is on it stating $2.50!! I always liked looking at that when it was framed on the wall. Gave it character and people would always comment on it. I would grade the labels a very good VG+ with some spindle trail marks on both sides. On both sides of the record you will see light scratches (sleeve scratches, etc,) and a deeper one on side 2 across tracks 1, 2 and3 but it does not cause skipping or jumping. Sound quality has the usual popping and crackle for an album this age that looks as if
the previous owner had enjoyed listening to it. I listened to it only twice as I had it framed on the wall near my other Beatle collectibles but as I said no skips or jumps on the album. Well there you have it. Pains me to sale this one but I have two kids with a third on the way and lots of bills! So I hope it goes to a good home. I start my bids low and free shipping.
