Description
As found, as shown in the photographs. Cover is in Good Plus/Very Good condition with minimal wear, scratches, marks, finish loss or discoloration. There is some spine wear, and the bottom and top edges are split at the opening going in 3.5-4" each. Of note, the 8 in the record # indicates it is a Mail Order Club version from 68 (one of the most rare and desirable club records produced) Also confirming, the 3 diagonal lines in the upper left corner of the front. At the top of the rear is a previous owner's name written in pen (Laura Stapleton). This is also found faintly on the outer edge of the label rainbow ring of Side 2, indicating it's likely an original matching pair (record & cover). The inner sleeve is plain white, which is consistent with other known examples that I've found. It has a few inch split in the middle of the bottom edge as shown. The record is in fair condition, with significant scratches and ring/label wear. However, it does play through both sides without skips except one track (Side 2 Track 5 Every Little Thing) @ 0:10. After moving the needle over a couple grooves, it plays through the rest of the track though. The 3rd to last photo shows the culprit. The photo before that shows a long scratch across several side 2 tracks that you can feel with your nail, but surprisingly, it doesn't effect play.
