It is with much pride..that this very rare (very early press)..BEE GEES LP is available for auction.

Calender Records~MONO~R66-241.

I WAS A LOVER,A LEADER OF MEN::I DON'T THINK ITS FUNNY::HOW LOVE WAS TRUE::TO BE OR NOT TO BE::TIMBER::CLAUSTROPHOBIA::COULD IT BE-side 1.

AND THE CHILDREN LAUGHING::WINE AND WOMEN::DON'T SAY GOODBYE::PEACE OF MIND::TAKE HOLD OF THAT STAR::YOU WOULDN'T KNOW::FOLLOW THE WIND-side 2.

Grading good (to very good)..without being pristine.

The cover has some light ringwear (and general aging..but thankfully quite acceptable for a 40 plus year old item).

The vinyl has some light surface marks.

Plays and sounds great (with some acceptable background noise).

There has been fantastic interest in this Bee Gees LP..and thankyou very kindly..with the first bid being posted about 1 minute after it was listed.

I was going to add..just how surprised I was..on test playing.(and its the first time I'd ever heard this album)...just how progressive and (as he struggles with the right words)..well..more psych and beat..than I'd ever imagined the Bee Gees would be (perhaps the pop side of the lads came latter).

And while I'm adding these note..especially with the interest already shown..my description of good to very good is over stating the condition. It would be fair to describe the cover as such. The condition of the vinyl is closer to fair to good (not very good)..as the surface marks are very numerous (and although mostly just light surface scuffs..there are a couple that are definite deeper scratches)

As mentioned..it plays and sounds great...but keep in mind..there is plenty of background noise and the crackle and pop that the surface marks cause.

Grading is very important, and in points out of 100...I'd estimate the following (and this grading is up against 100 being a record found from this same era..that is genuine near mint condition..if that makes sense..hopefully yes).

Cover 85-90:: Labels 80 (some spindle marks): Vinyl 65-70: Audio 70-75.
