Super Rare Blue Label Liberty Hawkwind 1st press of 1st album..Good news first...cover is good, bit of feathering to corners, and opening side, but not bad at all....side 2 looks to be very good with no apparent scratches even when viewed under a bright light... Bad news, side one has a series of 3 or 4 scratches that look deliberate, even across the label. Probably done by someone pi**ed off at the original owner . Although these are visible and can be felt I have played through on my Technics deck and the sound is nowhere as bad as you would expect, there is some clicking but mainly lost in the background , but I didn't experience any jumping, I certainly have records that have near invisible marks that play worse .Difficult to find this album on blue label in any condition. If you are reading this you know book price in 2016 is £350..in fact last copy on here mint sold for above that, so will start at lowish price and see where it goes...
