Description

Rare 7"  2-sided vinyl record open-ended interview with Barbra Streisand.  Made available to radio stations in 1964 to promote her latest LP "People."  Original 9 page script for DJs to use; script length is 30 minutes; picture sleeve is shown and has wear as shown in the pics, but is in great vintage shape for being 56 years old; vinyl looks to be in great condition with some visible marks.

I will include a CD copy of the audio.

She was performing in Funny Girl at the time and the show is referenced a number of times.  Also refers to herself as Mrs. Gould.  Talks about loving ice cream, the difficulty of performing 8 shows a week, that each show is different - sometimes she wants to cry during a scene and sometimes she doesn't.  Talks about receiving tons of demo recordings but doesn't have the time to listen to the songs others want her to perform.  Talks about living in a home formerly owned by Lorenz Hart.  Fascinating and early, but classic Streisand.

This is unbelievably rare.  I've been collecting for 40 years and never saw this available until just now!
