Description
Up for auction is a rare Beatles’ Butcher Cover, MONO, in 2nd State, Unpeeled condition. Released by Capitol Records in 1966. This is a west coast #6 pressing...The photos clearly show Ringo’s black V neck black sweater on the Butcher slick under the trunk slick. You can also see the Butcher slick on lower left front where the trunk slick was mis aligned during the paste over process. I like these misaligned butchers the best. Condition is as seen in the photos. Some stains on upper right front but no attempts to peel. Minor storage wear after 54 years on the shelf. Staple holes in upper middle of cover on both sides. Very small and hard to see seam split in middle of top and bottom. 1” on bottom, approx 2” on top seam.side seam has alitte paper loss and small split on left side. Some paper loss on seam but is difficult to see. Corner rub on lower left. The vinyl is only vg with lots of scratches and scuffs. Factory stamped * in trail off area of vinyl. Original west coast inner sleeve included PE-12-3BL in vg condition with seam splits. This can be easily replaced. I will include it with the cover anyway. Item sold as is, so no returns. Study the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding and not after auction. Reasonable offers considered before first bid is cast. Payment by PayPal only due within 24 hours of auction’s end. Item ships usps priority, not media mail, within 48 business hours of confirmed receipt of payment with tracking, insurance, and signature. Shipping is $10. No international bidders please, sorry. Check out my positive feedback on recent sales of a number of butchers. Good luck!
