Description
Up for auction is the Beatles’ Rare 1966 Capitol Records MONO Butcher Cover, 2nd State, UNPEELED, for their “Yesterday and Today” album. Highly sought after in this condition with no attempts to peel. Ringo’s black V neck sweater is clearly visible under the trunk cover near trunk on right. The trunk cover was glued a tad out of alignment so the Butcher slick is uncovered on bottom of front cover. No record but a west coast mono disc for this cover would not be difficult to obtain. #6 west coast pressing on lower right bottom of cover. Study the photos carefully for any aging spots, stains etc. John’s neck has a little bit of wear....All seam sides have small breaks in the paper. The left side seam is split about 9”. Top seam has 2” in the middle; and bottom seam has 2” split on right. Back cover has a couple of bend marks on lower left and right. Comes with original west coast inner sleeve in vg condition PE-12-3BL. Upper right corner of front inner sleeve has tear....No writing or ink marks on cover.
