Description
Up for auction at an extremely low opening bid compared to many other Butchers on ebay, is the rare Beatles' 1966 Capitol Records release of "Yesterday and Today" Album and vinyl in its Unpeeled 2nd State condition!!! all Original as you can see from the photos...the trunk slick was glued on centered so a portion of the butcher slick is clearly visible on along the left side of the cover...Ringo's V-neck black sweater clearly visible about 3" down from "T" in TODAY.....#6 West Coast cover pressing but the vinyl lp appears to be a East Coast pressing (factory pressed "I AM" in a triangle and numbers contained in the trail off area).... please note on front cover a small portion of trunk slick removed at lower left corner to reveal the butcher but no damage to the butcher slick...a nailhead size portion of the trunk slick removed at John's knee to reveal part of the butcher underneath but no damage to the butcher....there are two horizon tears in the album cover, both fron and back (see pics) about 4" from bottom cover at mouth that are about less than 1/2"in length, no part of either slick is missing however...a careful peel in that area will reveal 100% of the butcher slick...I will let the new owner make that decision...front cover has evidence of storage wear, some scratches in the trunk slick, and minor stain spots here and there....back cover has storage wear and minor stain spots here and there also, but the pictures do the talking with respect to the cover...awesome piece to add to your collection...top seam is intact with just minor wear..bottom seam has 1/8" split at mouth, alittle over 2" in middle and about 4" from left corner...side seam has 2" seam in middle, about 1/4" from bottom left, minor wear on print...comes with original orange inner sleeve... Vinyl is just in good condition with minor wear and scratches, minor scuffing etc, the typical wear you see on most of these records...labels look great as you can see....start the bidding at $100 and let's see where it goes from there over three days...don't let someone slip in with a bid in less than one minute and get your butcher!!! Good Luck!!
Payment by Paypal only due within 24 hours of end of auction...Shipping via USPS Priority with tracking.....If you want more than $50 insurance then you will need to add to the above quoted price....foreign bidders are welcome but shipping is extra....All sales are final, so ask any questions by email BEFORE you bid..No returns or refunds accepted....bid with confidence as I have been a member in top standing on ebay for over 15 years and have sold a number of awesome butcher covers from my collection....Thanks!
