Description
Rare original 1st Japanese stereo pressing of the Beatles 4th studio album “Beatles For Sale”.
Pressed on dark red translucent vinyl. Comes with alternate artwork sleeve. 1800 yen price on rear of sleeve.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: YEX - 142 2 〄 5A
Side 2: YEX - 143 2 〄
The vinyl grades as VG to VG+ visually with light non feelable paper scuffs under strong light. No deep or feelable marks. The record plays really well. A little light background crackle in some quiet sections and between tracks but doesn’t come close to overpowering the music which is loud and powerful throughout. Play grade is VG+
The sleeve is VG only. Has splits on spine edge as shown. Writing on inside gatefold and light general storage wear.
Original printed inner sleeve and lyric insert both have small foxing marks. VG
