Offered is the very early 1966 U.K. version of The Beatles' "Revolver" album, with the rare "Dr. Robert" error!
This earliest second U.K. mono pressing includes the sought-after yellow-and-silver printed Parlophone label with PMC 7009 and matrix numbers XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-3. It is the earliest version on the shelves after the first pressing, as it still retains the Sans-serif font and the misprint on Side 2 of the track "Doctor Robert" at "Dr. Robert." This was quickly corrected in the later second pressings.
These early Sans-serif labels have each song title starting on a new line with the first line purely for "Taxman" and "Eleanor Rigby" on the second line. Also of note on these original labels, each song title was followed by song credits and then lead vocalist.
The vinyl (VG+) retains its sheen with only minor scratches and scuffs. "MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN" runs along the center-bottom of the label, which is written in the early San Serif font. The flipback cover is in (EX) condition with original gloss and sheen and minor creases from use. Sleeve is in EX condition with no rips or tears.
