Up for sale is the RARE Beatles’ Vee Jay LP “Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles” gatefold cover with the Orange day glo STEREO sticker affixed to the bottom of the front cover! This is a fantastic cover with little wear on the cover even though it is 56 years old! Amazingly, the cover is still in the original Sears baggie shrink with Sears price tag (only $1.69 back then).....all seams appear to be 100% intact. The shrink does show some storage wear with a 1/2” tear in bottom shrink near opening. The extremely rare vee jay STEREO version 2 vinyl is only in vg condition with wear and minor scratches on both sides but plays through. See photos for label condition. The STEREO print is at 12 o’clock position and “The Beatles” print is above the spin hole. “ audio matrix” is machine stamped in trail off areas of vinyl. Yes, the Introducing the Beatles vinyl record was the record used for this release.” Comes with red vee jay inner sleeve in great condition with only some minor tears at thumb area.
