First pressings (1967)

The first pressing of Sgt. Pepper's was released in 1967 in mono with catalogue numbers PMC 7027. The records have the standard yellow block writing Parlophone label and the "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd.". The label displays the "Sold in the U.K." statement.


Condition:

Please read carefully:

  • The outside sleeve is not in the best of condition, the spine has significant damage and there are creases/ damage to both sides.
  • The inside also is showing its wear and tear and it is a bit dirty. 
  • The insert is in perfect condition.
  • The vinyl itself, seems in a good condition, there is one scratch (see image). The vinyl has not been tested.
