Up for auction is the Rare Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" Capitol Records T-2553 Mono "Butcher Cover" 3rd state which means it is obviously PEELED. The history and collectiblity of this rare cover has been duplicated here on ebay ad nauseam so I won't repeat it here. Due to the glue strength, this was a very stingy peel. Pictures clearly show condition. Seam splits all the way around but the previous owner used a white paper to sealed the splits and can be removed. Zoom in around the seams and you can see the repair; minor tears here and there as seen in the pictures. There has been some touch ups here and there with acrylic paint as seen in some discolored areas. Circular glue marks evident at mouth of cover; some glue residue still remaining here and there which can be removed. A stain on back cover with a name written on cover....the vinyl record and label is much better, minor wear and scratches here and there on vinyl.....This Butcher is obviously for the young or new Beatles' record collector who doesn't have one and not a lot of money. Highest bidder over $50.00 WINS!!! Comes with a copy of the Capitol Recall letter (see pic); The poor condition is evident so study the pictures carefully before bidding and ask any questions by email...All sales are final and really hope there is a young person out there looking for their first Beatles' Butcher cover at an affordable price!
