Description
For sale is a rare Beatles 1st pressing mono lp of the 1963 debut lp, Please please me.
- It has the black and gold Parlophone label.
- Ernest Day sleeve.
- Angus Mcbean credit.
- Dick James credits for several of the tunes.
- PMC 1202
- Matrix numbers:- XEX 421-1N and XEX 422 1N
I am not an expert on vinyl , but below is my assessment of the condition:-
VINYL
It has been played and enjoyed.
Side 1 has scratches.
Side 2 has scratches and scuffs.
I am unable to play it as I have sold my record deck, and it has not been played for over 40 years.
LABELS
In my opinion in good condition
SLEEVE
Minor creasing/wrinkles, and scuffs on all 4 corners, however I do not think it is bad at all for it's age.
INNER SLEEVE
Creases but no tears
NB - on 1 of the photos it looks like there is a chip around the circumference - THERE IS NOT - its a piece of the white cloth I photographed it on.
