RARE BEATLES STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOR EVER / PENNY LANE

PARLOPHONE  R 5570 

A small but important part of Beatle history as this single has a FACTORY SAMPLE STICKER and was purchased at the Liverpool Beatles Auction held at the LIPA during August 2004 as part of a number of lots being sold from the collection of the former assistant Fan Club secretary ELSA GOODLASS so their history and provenance can be guaranteed.

 

Many samplers are difficult to validate but as one of the Beatles inner circle the assistant secretary would have had access to such early issues of single releases. Therefore this is a unique opportunity the hold a little part of Beatle history. If you are interested in this single there are others which I will be selling in the near future. Photocopies of the auction documents will be posted with this item.

 

Condition:

SLEEVE :  Original picture sleeve in excellent condition given that it is over 40 years old.

 

LABELS :  No marks or de-facings.

 

VINYL :  Excellent condition with no jumps or crackles and plays very well.
