Description
Very rare 71' UK Vertigo gatefold original;Catapilla-self-titled 1st LP.Sleeve has some wear, rubbing ,slight ring wear etc .commensurate with its' age. There is a price(£1.00) written(quite small) on the back cover.Record is a strong, better than average Very Good+/Plays Very Good+ condition.Basically a really good, refreshingly clean copy of an LP that is hard to find in any condition.Side I has a just a couple of tiny marks-a light, slight click for about 5 seconds 5 minutes into track 1,side 1,but quite feint and not distracting. The other mark is half-way through the short track 2,Side 1-again, just a light, feint click for about 10 seconds this time.No sticks, skips or jumps-otherwise and overall Side 1 plays Excellent.Side 2 has one surface mark and one very feint storage stain mark(from being stored for many years in polythene-lined inner sleeve) not affecting play at all;the vinyl is basically Excellent and plays Excellent.Classic, rare Jazz-influenced,atomspheric UK Prog, evocative of the time&genre with long tracks, jamming etc and those unique, remarkable vocals of Anna Meek!
