The continuous 17-track layout on the reverse is fully legible. Overview:Up for auction is an incredibly rare, industry-only promotional sampler album pressed in South Africa in April 1973. This record completely bypassed the public and was custom-manufactured strictly as a sales showcase/showreel for record store owners and radio program managers to pitch the upcoming winter/autumn release slate. The record features a continuous voiceover narration introducing "the latest LPs" from global superstars alongside major domestic South African talent. The matrix codes prove the record was mastered at the legendary independent Jo'burg Studios (JOS) in Johannesburg, with the cover printed by the iconic Artone Press. An absolute must-have time capsule for collectors of 1970s radio transcription discs, South African pressing variations, or completionist collectors of the major artists featured.
