Pazant Brothers & the Beaufort Express “Chick a Boom” b/w “Mboga-Chakula (Greasy Greens)” (Vigor VI 711, 1973)
Condition: VG+ (visable surface marks, but plays EX or better w/ minimal surface noise; perfect for DJ-ing) /// Nice copy of this elusive deep funk favorite as sampled by Main Source for “Looking at the Front Door,” KMD for “Gas Face Refill,” and others. B-side is a slept-on break-laden tune as well. Neither of these tracks appear on the Pazant Brothers’ Loose & Juicy LP and both are far superior to anything on that album IMO. Clean labels.
