Description
There were 250 of these recording pressed it served as a BACKERS AUDITION/ Demo of a show which according to the liner notes was supposed open on Broadway in the Fall of 1965. The show never saw the light of day. Rather than doing a LIVE Backers audition the producer pressed this two lp set featuring members of the proposed cast with scenes from the show and narration of the story. by Jose Ferrer who was directing the show All Freeman JR, Pat Suzuki, Dizzie Gillespie all appear on the recording. The book and music By Warren Meyers and Julian Barry. The album was only sent to potential backers and was never available to the general public.
There are a few skuffs on the lp surface no major scratches and nothing that effects the playing of the record. it does show normal wear
