Description

This rare and special edition single record features the Drury High School Band of North Adams, MA performing the patriotic march "On to Panama."


Released in 1924 by Edison Diamond Disc Records, this high-fidelity recording was limited to only 300 copies. A few years ago, a copy, missing one label, sold for approximately $130.


The 10" black shellac record is in good plus (G+) condition and plays at 80 RPM with mono audio channels. The paper sleeve is graded as fair (F). The record label and conductor are Thomas A Edison Inc of West Orange NJ and James Morley, respectively. The instruments featured include horn, trombone, clarinet, tuba, percussion, saxophone, flute, drums, and trumpet. This record is a must-have for any military or vinyl record collector. Or anyone interested in Drury High.
