Rare EP LP Yvette Giraud Sings in Korean Language on Venus VL 18 Japan KOREA War
Description One ULTRA RARE vinyl RECORD - I cannot find this or any info on it anywhere. From Wikipedia: Yvette Giraud French singer, born in Paris. She started singing in 1946 with "Mademoiselle Hortensia" ou La Danseuse est Creole...Giraud is well known in Japan, where she sang for a long time. "Yvette Giraud Sings in Korean", "THE BOY IN THE YELLOW SHIRT". KOREA OR JAPANESE LANGUAGE. "MANUFACTURED BY VENUS RECORD CO., SEOUL - KOREA". Since I cannot read the language written, I am guessing the record is circa 1940's to 1950's. I am assuming it is 33 rpm? Measures 9 & 5/8" inches. Includes original 'stock' paper sleeve. Catalog # VL-18 (VL18) RECORD IS IN VG++ to NEAR-MINT - CLEAN, SHINY, GLOSSY, UNWARPED, UNSCRATCHED, ETC. Under a magnifying glass it does have a couple of VERY SMALL 'bubbles' in the vinyl and a few very faint paper scuffs from the sleeve, and some minor dust - but it is still beautiful vinyl. It might could use a quick cleaning just to gloss it up a bit more but this is RARE to find a RARE record in this great of shape!! Jacket is in fair to good condition with taped edges and some wear and tear. Label is excellent (near-mint-mint).

Mint: Brand new, sealed, or never played or handled. 100% perfect. NM (Near Mint): A near-flawless to flawless copy. Excellent -- looks virtually unplayed/like new. VG++: Record may have a few light paper sleeve marks that does not affect play. Record has possibly been played a few times but is an excellent copy. VG+: Record will show more noticeable marks and paper scuffs than VG++ and may have some light surface noise due to some wear but still a good, playable copy. VG: Record will have some noticeable surface noise in parts and more light scuffs and/orscratches (which will be mentioned in description). Record may have background noise, but plays well with no skipping.Payment
