Hi
Firstly let me say I am a Music Lover - not an avid collector and so I don't believe I am qualified to make any misleading comments about good or VG + or - etc - all I can do is tell the truth, you will find out if you buy it and obviously have the right to return, so I have no reason to lie
I just wanted to get that out of the way before I go on.

is Elvis's First UK LP Release
I will give very detailed info as we go on - but please blow up and study my honest pictures first - I try to show all cover and record imperfections.
Dealing with the Front Cover first - one of the pictures is taken while still in its plastic protective cover so appears to ripple at top right - a further picture taken today without the cover shows it is not.
Very very Picky? all four edges have very minor blemishes - check pictures
About 2 inches down from top right corner there is a tear in the cover about 1 inch long - no attempt made to repair this - could make it worse as I would only use sticky tape!
Rear Cover

In centre left edge there is a small tear where cover is flexed out by your fingers removing the record, this is about 1/2 inch long
also top right fold over has 33/112 in faded writing
Cover - General - outline of the round LP inside is impressed onto front and rear cover
Inner Paper Sleeve - No fold overs - still a good square, front is printed with the warning about needle checking as a square legend around the centre hole, rear is perfectly clean and plain
The glue has unstuck along the one side edge - no attempt made to reglue or use sticky tape
Record itself - play it first - so quiet - enjoyed the 'Kings' voice out my Dansette, no cracks pops or bangs, it really is almost devoid of noise, within confines of it being vinyl - but it really is so quiet its pretty stunning
Record itself - is HMV purple and gold label both sides - no tears nicks or anything - just perfect
On Side one there is a surface mark - I can't say scratch because it cannot be heard and cannot be felt with nail or fingertip. No attempt made to clean or polish out - don't want to damage it by doing something unnecessary.
The mark is clear in my pics - it comes from approx 6.30 clock position on centre label in straight line downwards across last 2/3 tracks - fading out towards outer tracks
Side 2 if very very picky has some marks but nothing obvious at all - you have to play the light off the surface and nothing affects the music from this side - plays great
That's it - as detailed as I can give you
Does it make it a VG+ or better - I don't know, you decide
I have just been very detailed and honest
I can only summarise; small tears on front and back cover, unglued one side inner sleeve
RECORD PLAYS PERFECTLY!
Carriage
This is a high value record - I can't just put in a mailer LP outer and send - so this will be multiple wrapped and protected ending up a chunky box, this way I know willl arrive ok.
So it will cost a little more than a Mailer sleeve onPost, but really insignificant extra with value of this Prescious Record
It will go on a tracked signed 24 hour courier to UK Mainland address - but as you will know some Highlands of Scotland, all Islands and Northern Ireland will cost more so let me have your post code.
I will send to Europe USA Canada Austrralia, please give me address so I can get a cost for you - will only be sent on a service where fully insured and tracked
Based upon this I believe the Record would be classed as Near Mint towards Excellent - depending upon the interpretation of how big a part the mentioned marks play - at very least its a Excellent - EX
Sleeve - probably VG but it does have the tear mentioned, so not sure this one
