Rare MGM Studio Production Playback disc for film "Cabin In The Sky" - 1942 12-inch, one-sided pressing for MGM Studios
Ethel Waters sings "Happiness Is A Thing Called Joe" (written by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg) Production 1267, Scene 2405 ... Recorded September 9, 1942 (the film was released April 9, 1943) Disc gives speed as 80rpm (as is usual with MGM Studio discs)
Beginning of disc has Studio Technician count-down, followed by clap-board sound and piano for key Ethel Waters sings as only Ethel could.
