Description
During the next few month's you will see many rare or hard-to-find Beatles items listed along with other artists. My collection is an example of music history, some known, unknown, rarely heard, or seen. I will have a hard time parting with them.
This is an authentic record and picture cover of The Beatle's First EP for Capital # EAP 1-2121. Titles include, "Roll Over Beethoven," "This Boy," "All My Loving" and "Please, Mr. Postman." Released on May 11, 1964.
The cover is in very good condition with few marks on either side other than wear in the black portions above George's head, a skid mark where something was pulled across it like an inkless pen on Pual's jacket front cover, and a corner crease on the back cover, at John's jacket bottom. Most likely where the record kept the EP board stiff. The jacket is not together at the top or bottom seams, so it opens like a gatefold at the moment. This is an easy repair. Other than that the picture is very nice and clean, and the corners have very little wear.
The record is in excellent ++ condition with no skips or loud pops. Extremely smooth, but normal 45 RPM sound. This is the "Green label version" which is very clean and virtually no ringwear around the edge that you may see on others.
