Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Soul and Funk vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
For your consideration, we have: J.C. DAVIS "Buttered Popcorn" and "Coconut Brown" on New Day Records, circa late '60s. Two heavy funk sides, each one better than the next...pounding drums, fantastic organ and horns. Legendary sounds from James Brown's former bandleader, this is a rare slice of Ohio funk history.
