Description
"Fun-Key" b/w "The Hat's Back," obscure instrumental funk from Los Angeles circa early '70s on this Kris label subsidiary. "The Hat's Back" starts with a rimshot break then settles into a cool mod-funk instrumental with organ; "Fun-Key" is more straight-ahead but with a strange vamp that reminds me of '60s murder-mystery music, done funk style. Condition: strong VG+, nothing deep or obnoxious, wol on "The Hat's Back" side. Lots of soul, funk, rockabilly, northern soul 45s this month. I’ll be running more and more records in the coming weeks, so check back often. We absolutely DO NOT deal in bootlegs or reissues; all records are original.
