Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Soul and Funk vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.

For your consideration, we have: PURPLE IMAGE "(Self-Titled)" LP, featuring "Living In The Ghetto," "Why," "We Got To Pull Together," "Marching To A Different Drummer," and 2 others on Map City Records, circa early '70s. Stellar psychedelic funk in the vein of early Funkadelic, by this talented Cleveland group. This is their sole LP, featuring the blistering "Living In The Ghetto" and the fifteen-minute jam "Marching To A Different Drummer."

Condition: this original, vintage copy is strong VG+ (cover), strong VG++ (vinyl). Aside from the moderate wear on the front cover, this is actually a very clean presentation. No seam splits, writing, or tearing, and minimal foxing on spines and edges. Vinyl is very clean with only the slightest evidence of prior use; close to M-.

MY STRICT GRADING SCALE: M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G. I grade to please, not to deceive.
