Description
Original purple-label pressing of New York City funk band Cross Bronx Expressway 7" 45 of "Cross Bronx Expressway b/w "Help Your Brothers." Produced by Zell Sanders. US pressing on Zell's Records Z-1488 (Matrix Z-148A/B).
CONDITION: Disc has a moderate amount of wear. It is pressed on a fairly thick slab of wax, which serves to diminish surface noise. It contains an acceptable amount of surface wear & needle wear. I imagine that a serious collector of rare funk 45s would be pleased with this copy & not desire a more perfect piece. The A-side, "Cross Bronx Expressway" is significantly better than the B-side. An abrasion & some scratches, but no skips. The B-side has 3 abrasions & a few medium scratches. The label is pretty good: no tears or marks or abrasions. A very small amount of wear & discoloration. I wouid grade the disc as V+ ("Very Good-plus") & the label as E- ("Excellent-minus").

N- = Record shows no scratches, scuffs, or wear. Plays like new.
E+ = Excellent +, Record shows very light wear, should play like new.
E = Excellent, Record shows light scratches/scuffs which should NOT be audible when played.
E- = Excellent -, Record shows light scratches and scuffs that MAY be audible.
V+ = Very Good +, Record shows moderate scratches and scuffs or wear that WILL be audible.
V = Very Good, Record shows moderate/heavy scratches and scuffs that WILL be audible and MAY skip.
V- =Very Good -, Record shows considerable scratches and wear. Good for a fill-in until a better copy turns up.
P = Poor, What can I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough. We will only offer P condition items if they are extremely rare or unusual.
