Description

Original 1967 pressing on Counterpart Records (C-2591/C-2592) out of Cincinnati, Ohio, featuring the fuzz-driven garage anthem “Hey Conductor” backed with the moody ballad “You Bring These Tears to Me.” Recorded and produced by Ray Allen, this single is a staple among Midwest garage collectors for its raw energy and regional authenticity.


Slight warp on the outside edge that affects the first 15 to 20 seconds of “you bring these tears to me.” Does not affect the other side. light surface wear visible under strong light, but retains good gloss. Labels show minor discoloration and residue but remain clean and legible. This copy comes from the private collection of a legendary Detroit crate-digger and one-time DJ, and it bears subtle marks of his preservation methods—proof of its provenance.
