Up for auction is a genuinely rare Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction Alternative Album where "all songs are demos & alternative versions recorded in and around L.A. from 1986 to 1987 complete with the f*ck ups, bust ups, high and lows. The greatest rock n' roll record ever made. Got somethin' better motherf*cker?"
This album is pretty rare and there are not many of these on ebay worldwide let alone the UK. At the time of listing this is only one available for sale on ebay in all of the UK! This album can only potentially increase in value in the years to come due to its rare nature. The cover is also the banned sleeve artwork version.
I have done a bit of research and I believe this album originates from Spain in 2012 and only a limited numbers were made since its unauthorised hence the blank labels on the record (please see pics).
I have listened to both sides of the album and it plays fine without any skips or stutters even though there are some minor marks here and there. Its in fairly good condition for its age. Of course there are crackles and pops which most people will agree is part of the charm of vinyl. Personally I don't mind the crackles and pops as I prefer the warm analogue sound of vinyls compared to the cold digital sound of CDs.
The album will come with a new clear plastic outer sleeve. I will also clean the album with a professional vinyl cleaning fluid before it is despatched to the lucky winner. The album comes from a smoke free and pet free home. It will be packed securely to avoid damage during transit. It will be sent by 1st class Signed For better security.
This is a genuine 1p no reserve auction and the highest bidder will win regardless of the final price. There is no buy it now price and more importantly there is no hidden mental reserved price & I do not set out to profit from P&P. This rare album it not advertised anywhere else.
