Description
Here we have a 1987 compilation of ultra-rare indie-synth recordings, entitled "The Jamboree Bag".
It’s a vinyl LP from Surrey-based Primitive records (Cat no 19).
It features Shout Girl Shout, The Trudy, South London band Cha Boom Cha, Le Modular, Hallmark, Religion, Magnolia Siege, Hayday, and Chris White (who is probably NOT the Conservative ex-MP for Warwick and Leamington).
The record is in very, very clean and tidy condition.
It shines like a healthy Golden Labrador’s nose, and plays beautifully... AND IT'S POST FREE!
The insert shows some creasing and signs of damp-damage (see THREE close-up photographs to assess this).
The paper bag sleeve is complete, but again shows some not-too-bad creasing and is not mint/perfect, but it is perfectly acceptable.
Apparently, on this record’s original release, the bag also contained a Trebor© lollipop and a 1987 “novelty”.
No novelty or lolly is in the bag at the moment. HOWEVER.. to make up for this.. you WILL get a SURPRISE ITEM FROM PRIMITIVE RECORDS which will gladden the heart of any Chris White and Cardiacs fans.
One last thing, this record has nothing to do with a similarly titled album by Cockney funsters Chas And Dave
Proper record dealers are asking three figure sums for this desirable rarity. Because of the iffy condition of the nearly-always-missing insert sheet, and the creasing of the Jamboree Bag itself, I’m offering everything at a much reduced price. The disc itself is “as clean as a rose is after rain” and that’s the important bit.
