Description
Limited edition picture disc from Iron Maiden in a very unusual design format featuring a picture that extends beyond the standard size of a normal 45 disc. Issued in 1993 under limited quantities and part of a numbered collection making this particular edition - including the shape of the disc a very sought after item.It is still housed in its original sleeve (please see pictures) The details are: Iron Maiden "Fear Of The Dark" - Live B Side: "Hooks On You" - Live Issued on the EMI Recording Label, Catalogue Number is 7243 8 80521 0 8/EMPD 263. Limited Edition Copy - Consecutive Number of 15,596 (as detailed on the front outer insert card) Condition - Sleeve: The single comes in a plastic outer sleeve that houses a card based insert - please see photo's.This is in good condition. Condition - Vinyl: Side One: Examined under bright lighting conditions one can see the occasional lightly based surface mark but overall presents with a good glossy sheene. Importantly, I have played Side One and on my audio equipment there is no skipping,sticking or jumping - one can hear the occasional pip associated with hard to see marks and dust fragments but this is only evident on the intro as you would expect the remainder of the music is loud. Of note, be careful when placing the needle onto the vinyl as it is very hard to detect the onset of the recording as the vinyl is clear making it hard to capture the initial grooves (unless you are able to stand above your turntable - I am not). The audio quality on side one is good (live don't forget)
