Rare early pressing - with milled edge on the record This is NOT a later laminated pressing from after Columbia took over the OKeh company These sides were recorded on June 16, 1926 OKeh 8343 was probably released in August or September 1926 General Phonograph, then owner of OKeh, announced the sale of the company to Columbia in October 1926 Under Columbia's ownership, Okehs were pressed as laminated pressings by Columbia ? How long were pre-laminated TrueTone pressings still available after OKeh's sale ? Probably not long.
