Rare 1924 Jazz Music Sheet . . . Bix Beiderbecke photo on sheet music cover "Driftwood" - published by Irving Berlin, Inc. Photo of Dick Voynow and The Wolverines (Bix, of course, is seated far right, holding horn) - see photos
It is fairly well known amongst Bix fans and collectors that this is the only piece / title of contemporary sheet music that contains a photo of Bix Beiderbecke.
Sheet music copies of this title apparently sold fairly well, BUT usually and most often with other cover photos of singers or band leaders of the period. On any given day, a casual search of ebay could produce several copies of this title / sheet, but with different photos of singers or dance bands, or frequently with no cover photo at all.
Very nice condition, a fine copy that would never need upgrading.
