Description

Frank Trumbauer & His Orchestra with vocals by Johnny Mercer and Helen Rowland Columbia 18002-D . . . "Longer Playing Record" - 78rpm "Sizzling One-Step Medley" - "Dinah"/"My Honey's Lovin' Arms"/"Nobody's Sweetheart" (includes early Johnny Mercer vocal) "Medley of Isham Jones Dance Hits" - "On The Alamo"/"Swinging Down The Lane"/"I'll See You In My Dreams" (great Helen Rowland vocal on "Swinging Down The Lane") Recorded April 5, 1932  This is one of a short-lived series of Depression era "Longer Playing" Records, with a thinner groove for longer playing time. When originally played with regular steel needles, the thinner grooves quickly became worn. Few survive in truly fine condition. This is a VERY nice E+ copy, Plays beautifully and is rarely found in this condition. Media Mail is $6.50 in U.S. Postage extra outside of U.S. - Europe is approx. $28. . . Japan is approx. $30.
