Description
This is a rare copy of a special promotional album recorded by the renown French jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli, released by Black-Hawk records in 1986. Entitled "Stephane Grappelli Live in San Francisco", the quartet that played included Grappelli on violin, Martin Taylor on electric guitar, Diz Disley on acoustic guitar and Jack Sewing on bass. Side one includes "I've Got Rhythm", "Fascinating Rhythm", "Lets Fall in Love", "Swing", and "Honeysuckle Rose". Side Two includes "You are the Sunshine of my Life", "Minor Swing", "Here, There and Everywhere", "St Louis Blues', "Them There Eyes", and "After You've Gone". The song "Swing" was written by Grappelli. The song "Minor Swing" was written by Grappelli and Jango Reinhardt. I have two of these albums, never played, new in their jackets and plastic sleeves.
