Description
This seminal first press on Track records released in 1967 (612001) has the matrix numbers A1/B1. It is rare that one is found in such an excellent condition given its age of over 40 years. The disc itself is in excellent condition, exhibiting a high gloss finish with only a few minor paper scuff marks. No scratches at all. There is a small amount of spindle marking but no centre hole wear. It plays like a dream as most Mono copies do, especially on such substantial vinyl. The inner sleeve is the original British Patent issue. Track titles have been written on the inner at some stage, but these have now almost totally faded.
The outer Ernest J. Day, Patent Pending sleeve, has a perfect laminated front. There is no wear to the edges or spine. The matt rear is unmarked, apart from the original dealers stamp in the top right hand corner (Kenneth Daly, 18 Stramongate, Kendal) which gives the album a certain unique dated charm.
This is an excellent copy which deserves your full attention and is a real collectors item. It will be a choice you will not be disappointed with!
