Rare LINDISFARNE MINT PROMO LP/PRESS KIT-Nicely Out of

I recently purchased a large collection of 60's and 70's albums that were owned by a record store owner who sold high end audio equipment.  Most of the vinyl in this collection is MINT or NEAR MINT.  These albums have been properly stored standing up, in special boxes, in a climate controlled room for decades.  Many of them are promotional copies and 1st pressings.  The owner deliberately put these away as extras (many are still sealed), and had addional copies that he played at the store.  If the vinyl was played, it always had the benefit of being spun on an excellent, high end turntable.  Watch my listings over the next few weeks for more amazing classic rock, psych, folk, fuzz, blues and even some jazz. 

This auction is for a very rare package put out by Elektra for the unknown band in the US called Lindisfarne.  The package includes an unplayed white label promo lp that is in MINT condition. 

The lp itself has a gimmick cover with a top loading pull-out poster of the band.  The lp is housed inside an oversized original Elektra folder in the late 60's Elektra GOLD color.   

Also in the folder is a press kit with write-ups on the band, an official black & white 8" x 10" press photo, and a large 4-color poster.  This has all been stored for 40+ yearsand kept in pristine condition, with the exception of the poster-which has a slight  wrinkle along the upper due to the fact that the poster was slightly taller than the folder and stuck out in stoage a bit.

COMBINED SHIPPING:  I will always combine shipping and you pay only the extra weight and cost of insurance. 

INSURANCE/DUTIES:  Please keep in mind that insured items have to be declared for that same value.  I cannot insure an album for $400 and declare it for $19.  I like to work with my international customers, but if you ask me not to insure a record, I will not be responsible if it is lost or damaged.  This has never happened with Express Mail, and I pack records securely, but please keep this in mind.
