Description
Rare 1982 German CBS Masterworks 6LP box set celebrating the summer festivals in Prades and Perpignan, in southern France, 1950 - 1952 - and not the least legendary Catalanian born modern cello virtuoso Pablo Casals as participating musician and director whilst living in exile from Franco's Spain. The Prades and Perpignon concerts features Dame Myra Hess, Mieczyslaw Horszowski, William Primrose, Alexander Schneider, Rudolf Serkin, Isaac Stern, Marcel Tabuteau, and Paul Tortelier. This LP Box Set has never been opened; it is still in its shrink wrap. There is a little tearing to the shrink wrap (see photograph).
