Description
Never opened, rare original 1977 issue of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Street Survivors" vinyl LP in its original shrink wrap. Almost all of these albums with the "flame" album covers were withdrawn from stores immediately after the band's plane crash. I found this album on a spring break trip to Florida in March 1978, when I was 17, and snapped it up. Now, 49 years later, it can be yours.
The shrink wrap does have some small tears as can be seen in the images. The bottom edge is mostly separated but this is from being stored upright on that edge; the actual album has never been removed from the plastic wrap. It also has its original "Melody Makers" store price sticker of $5.69.
Just to be clear, THIS IS NOT A LATER REISSUE BUT AN ORIGINAL 1977 ISSUE of this album. This is a must-have for a Skynyrd fan, or a vinyl collector looking for a new investment.
