Description

This is a very rare privately produced promotional record of the Modern Jazz Quartet “Qualcosa di Mitico” on Saint Vincent SM 3785. The record was issued in conjunction with a July 3, 1985 meeting of the journalists of northwest Italy and has the MJQ in concert performing seven tracks: “What’s New”, “I’ll Remember April”, “Django”, “Concorde”, “Yesterdays”, “One Bass Hit”, and “Bag’s Groove”. The recording is undocumented in all discographies. The playing surface is as-new, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The cover is bright and clean throughout; light crease at the lower right corner and minor rubbing along the right edge of the back.
