Description

Rare original UK 1959 set of London American label 2x 7" single sided demos for the Marv Johnson hit 'I Love the way that you love'. Vinyl is the original 1959 UK demo press by London records. Eventually released at HLT 9109 with Let Me love You on the B side. early Motown as Marv was Berry Gordy's first successful artist when he set up Motown - wrote all his hits. Leased masters to UA in US who then released on London in UK. Labels are MSI 4209 and MSI 4210. Stamped with HLT9109 on second disc only. Some time note and letter marked on second label.

Usual single sided x 2 with orange labels. Often hard to find both sides in a pair - so very rare to have both sides. Sold individually usually. Vinyl minor scuffs from sleeve and play  so VG++ to EX. Sleeve is a bit creased to edges so VG+. Plays beautifully ! Offered at a nice cheap start price.

International buyers please note that I sell through the Ebay Global Shipping (GSP) Programme only. GSP set the shipping costs and they are listed on the site for your country. They also invoice buyers directly on purchase The GSP costs tend to be higher but you get ebay protection and so please make sure you are happy to pay them before buying. I cannot negotiate the costs or remove them after purchase - GSP will invoice and you will have to pay. Please do not buy if you are not happy with GSP costs. Thanks.
