This record came from an estate collection of records. They are all 12'' 78 rpm records of organ music in great condition.
This record is a rare 12'' 78 rpm Louis Vierne record with codes Decca 25362, XXP 6722. It is a US Decca record, but the songs are recorded on the organ in the Notre Dame Cathedral in France. Decca started their US labels in 1934, and Vierne died playing this same organ in 1937, so the record can be dated in that time frame. I've read that records from the Great Depression era can be quite hard to find, as production was naturally cut so dramatically.
Side 1 : Chorale-Prelude: Herzlich Thut Mich Yerlangen (J.S. Bach) Side 2: Chorale-Prelude: Durch Adams Fall (J.S. Bach)
Condition: Side 1: No scratches, no scuffs, has dust on it. NM+ Side 2: Has 2 bits of the label missing as pictured, one tiny scratch as pictured, and dust. EX I would've graded it NM+ to M if the small scratch was not present. I'm not a professional grader.
