Description

Rare NW Rock 45 Cheri Robin & The Stingrays "The Dance" B/W "Please Stay Away" on Rivers #1008 from c1963. Both sides are originals by Cheri Robin. Recorded at the Wiley- McNatt Studios in Tacoma, Washington. Bill Wiley rigged up primitive reverb chamber in the brick basement of his N. Tacoma studio. He was a very inventive engineer in his day. Wiley died in a car wreck in the 70's and his studio contents were sold and then left in storage for 40 years. This record comes from this storage unit and was Bill Wileys personal copy. Record has some of light surface scratches but plays great.
