Well...here's a beautiful Nirvana item. It's the original, limited US pressing of In Utero on clear vinyl.
I received this from Geffen upon its release (I was working in radio) and immediately put it in a mylar bag. It's been there for twenty years (in a non-smoking home). I may have played the LP once or twice...but I just checked it with a high-quality Ortofon cartridge and it sounds immaculate.
The disc is in perfect shape. The sleeve is the "soft" cardboard variety that was used in the declining vinyl marketplace of the mid-'90s. It has a diagonal crease on the lower-left corner...but is in otherwise excellent condition. Glossy and has a lot of eye appeal.
There is a promo stamp on the back cover.
I've loved having this -- and I am a huge Kurt fan -- but I'm trying to pare down at this point in my life, so it's time for another Nirvana fan to have this.
