This auction is for a very special Northern Soul record - "Without a Doubt" by The Lovers on the Los Angeles Universal City Frantic Records label. This is an ultra clean copy - just look at how bright the colours of the center label are...Also, take note of that fact that no one has scrawled their name on the record like is so often the case with Northern Soul Monsters. This record is a thing of beauty whether it is spinning or standing still. I have added an embedded auction player to this listening so that you may hear the sound quality first hand. 
So what flaws does this record have? It looks like there are some light surface scuffs on both sides from being taken in and out of a paper sleeve. The other flaw I notice is a mark (probably created by a bumped tone arm) at the 7 o'clock position on the "One Way to Love" side. 
It is interesting that this record was produced by Arvey Andrews and George Martin and recorded at Soundtronics. I wonder if could be the same George Martin that worked on the Beatles records ...regardless this is masterwork. The folks at Frantic Records put out some stellar material be on the look out for : Frantic CR-2131 The Boy Blues performing "Coming Down to You" and "Living Child" Frantic CR-2135  Mystic performing "Weekend People" CR-2135 and "I Get So Digusted" CR-2136 Frantic CR-2127  Psycho performing "You Think You've Got Me" and  "You Need Me" CR-2128 Frantic CR-2139  D. Witherspoon and the Future performing "Handful of Love" CR-2139  and "Cry and See" CR-2140   In this time of economic uncertainty, invest your money in collectables. Prices of records and picture sleeves only continue to rise - so bid with confidence and bid to win. Do what it takes to win - but beware of last second bids that don't get registered in time. IF five bidders all bid at the last second - I don't think all of the bids get recognized.
