Description

A Northern Soul STOMPER that needs no introduction:

 

Gloria Jones' sizzling Tainted Love (B/W My Bad Boy's Comin' Home) on the rare and sought after CHAMPION RECORDS green label (Issue No. 14003).

 

Beautiful clean copy strictly graded EXCELLENT+ condition. No scuffs or scratches and the vinyl has its full original lustre. The only signs of age are a few very light hairlines in keeping with removal from sleeve. Plays loud and crisp and clear with not the slightest audio blemish. Labels flawless. Many would grade this "MINT-" but unless it's literally unplayed I don't think "MINT-" should apply. This is a superb 50yr old pressing and definitely an essential addition to any Northern Soul fan's (or mod's) collection.

 

ADDED BONUS! Unusually, in addition to a paper sleeve, this record will come with a one-off special reproduction sleeve as a novelty extra. It is designed as a 60's style picture sleeve (inspired by the mid-60s French EP pressing) with a glossy front cover. The guy who does these makes a great job of them (see pic) and sells them for between £15 and £20. I always felt it was a nice addition to the single and proved a real talking point.

 

All questions are very welcome. I am a keen collector of vinyl and grade accurately. Returns are never a problem as I want the buyer to be totally pleased with their purchase.
