Rare 45 RPM Record by OFS Unlimited






This auction features a rare 45 RPM record from the funk / soul band OFS Unlimited. Side 1 of the single features "Mister Kidneys" and side 2 has the song "Mystic". The record was produced by Harmonic Sounds in Columbus, Ohio on the Prix records label, dated 1972. This was the first single for this short lived band. It is highly regarded among collectors for its heavy funk sound.

This record is in excellent condition. It is very clean with no scratches and it appears to be an unplayed record. The inner part of the label was cut a little rough as is normal on all of the other OFS Unlimited records that I have seen for sale from this label. This record was acquired along with a group of other nice soul / funk records. It is believed that this particular record (along with a band press photo that I am selling) was part of a collection from someone who worked for the Harmonic Sounds company.

OFS Unlimited band members included: Ronnie Taylor, Mike Roberts, Clarence Walker, Paul Rickman, Jack Atkins, and Andrew Vincent. They recorded on the Prix record label and were produced by Harmonic Sounds in Columbus, Ohio.
